An Important Step for National Security: Development of the Rūdninkai Military Campus Continues
Today, the infrastructure development agreement of Stage II Part A of the Rūdninkai military town came into force. This is an important step that allows the construction of critical military infrastructure to continue at full capacity. Until now, preparatory earthworks have been carried out in the territory of Part A of the second stage, and technical documentation has been processed.
“The scale of this project and the scope of work are impressive. We have been working intensively for several months now. At the moment, we have already completed about 70 percent of the earthworks in the territory. In the dormitory area alone, we dug up more than 80,000 m³ of unsuitable soil, and instead poured over 130,000 m³ of quality F1 class soil. Bulldozers, dump trucks, tractors, trucks and other machinery are constantly catching on the construction site. The team does not need to be encouraged and motivated – this is an exceptional project in terms of its relevance, the implementation of which we pay special attention to,” said Fegda CEO Jonas Jablonskis about the progress of the project.
Part A of Phase II is being implemented by a consortium consisting of Fegda, CONRES and INVL Asset Management, operating through the special purpose vehicle Rudina.
This project is implemented through a public-private partnership (PPP).
With great responsibility, we continue the work that directly contributes to the strengthening of the country’s security!
