Laboratory

“Fegda’s” laboratory is an accredited, modern research facility that ensures the materials and structures used in infrastructure projects meet the strictest quality and safety requirements. Activities are carried out in accordance with the LST EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard, and the tests performed support decision-making at all stages of the construction process – from subgrade installation to pavement evaluation.

The laboratory specializes in the following areas:

• road subgrade and base investigations,
• quality assessment of asphalt pavements and mixtures,
• analysis of bituminous binders (bitumen, emulsions),
• testing of mineral materials and fillers (granulometry, Proctor and permeability tests),
• analysis of concrete samples, including compressive strength.

Additionally performed:

• determination of static and dynamic deformation modulus,
• sampling of asphalt pavement cores, thickness measurements, and compaction degree evaluation,
• analysis of physical and mechanical properties, determination of bitumen content and granulometry.

The laboratory works in close cooperation with construction and design teams – tests are carried out both during construction and at the design stage, when it is necessary to assess the existing pavement or to design specific solutions for particular needs. The research results are accurately applied in practice, ensuring that decisions are made quickly and on a sound basis.

Services are provided both for Fegda’s internal projects and for external clients. Independent testing, consultations, and evaluation of technical solutions are carried out. Experienced specialists perform the work, and the equipment used meets modern construction requirements for accuracy and reliability.
